I played characters on 2 different nations on 2 servers. Now one is to be closed, but transfering its characters to the other's server is not allowed because of nations incompatibility.
All those servers closings are anyway a great trouble for players. Why not ease it by allowing some temporary breaks of rules, such as allowing a transfered character to be switched to another nation?

Greetings,
Thanks for contacting us about this issue,
Indeed server merge will be complicated for players that have already characters on multiple servers, but remember that you can still move a character from roberts for example to others that will remain open. So if you wish your main character on Roberts you can still move others without having to delete them. We understand that the one nation rules is not easy in such case but we can't forget it, simply because players could abuse of it and game experience would suffer from it.
We hope this solution will be positive after all.
Regards
Fred

Please explain how " player could abuse of " the licence to switch to another nation DURING ONLY THIS SINGLE CONSTRAINED MOVE.
Here on Hornigold we have lots of people who play on spain or english sides only in order to balance the game, because those nations were so few. But they are truly french speaking and often unable to play alone in british or spanish community. Also, they are our friends and we dont like to play without them. Likewise, it would be a shame to force to reroll a level 50 player who painfully earn nice ships, equipment and money.
Dont you feel that " game experience would suffer " more thanks to your intransigence?
Here in our forums, some are considering closing account as a serious choice.

Greetings,
Thank you for your inquiry. On a technical scale it is simply not possible without months of heavy coding work. It is not a valid option.

Thus your first argument was not true!
And while im a programmer, i doubt that the second one is also hardly credible ( your programmers could not be so bad! ).
